About SongBubble

The concept

SongBubble is a community-driven song voting site. The idea: surface the songs people are actually listening to and loving right now — not five years ago.

Anyone can nominate a song and vote for their current favourites. The chart shows all songs with active votes, ranked by score, with album artwork throughout.

How voting works

Each day you get 5 votes to spread across the chart. Votes are anonymous — no account or personal data is required.

Why votes fade

A song that dominated last month shouldn’t crowd out what’s resonating today. Votes decay over a 28-day window, so the chart stays fresh and reflects current listening rather than historical momentum.

Apple Music

Search the Apple Music catalogue to find and nominate songs without typing everything by hand. Songs with an Apple Music match support in-page preview playback directly from the chart.
