About SongBubble

The concept

SongBubble is a community-driven song voting experiment. The idea: surface the songs that people find most memorable, clever, or moving — right now, not five years ago.

How voting worked

Each day you get 5 votes to spread across the chart — one vote per lyric per day. Votes are anonymous; no accounts or personal data are collected.

Why votes fade

A lyric that dominated last month shouldn't crowd out what's resonating today. Votes decay over a 7-day window, so the chart stays fresh and reflects current listening rather than historical momentum.
